We sailed from Southampton which meant no flights or restrictions on luggage. Our room was fantastic and throughout the cruise the service and food was exmplary. Our destinations were varied and interesting with excellent tour guides when needed. Luckily the weather was perfect. Time on board was restful but with sufficient activity for everyone.

I went on my honeymoon and did 15 days form Singapore to Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia.
The ship was well managed but had very outdated decor and was just in real need of modernisation. We were told it is one of their older ships. Food was fantastic and entertainment was good. Good choice of on shore excursions and the sea days seemed to have a variety of entertainment.
A trip to the fjords, which was beautiful. It was the Las cruise I went on with my late mother, so was very special. It was brilliant crossing the Arctic circle and we had a great party
A cruise to the Baltic including overnight in St Petersburg. Ships excursions only used in St Petersburg and all three were very good. Enjoyed all the other ports of call (Zeebrugge, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Tallinn, Helsinki and Gdansk) which we looked at using a mixture of public transport and 'open top' tourist buses, slighly caught out in Gdansk because I missed that it docked in Gdynia, some distance from Gdansk, but there we used one of the taxis that queue up in the port and the driver gave us an excellent tour to and from Gdansk whith time to wander and shop which was good value for money. Would happily cruise this area again even though St Petersburg is out there are plenty of other places too see. Princess was once again very good unfortunatley like many others we had to cancel our next scheduled cruise to Alaska with Princess.
