![Excellent food & Staff always smart and helpful.]()
This was our honeymoon, cannot fault the staff, always professional and lovely. Food was excellent , also ate in both speciality restaurants, the food in both of these were superb, we enjoyed these so much we visited them more than once. The only letdown of this cruise was the weather, not very sunny but that is nobody’s fault, the average age of people on this ship was 71, this is the only thing which would make me consider choosing another ship.

An outstanding adventure awaited us, 13 ports to enjoy and see the sights. Amazing wildlife and stunning views and landscapes.
Many bucket list adventures ticked and fulfilled an amazing time. Meals to die for in Ocean Grill, with outstanding service in a relaxed environment.

Basic (entry level) cruise. But considering it was a 49 day cruise for only £4700 each (in a balcony) what more can you expect. Entertainment varied from outstanding to truly dire. The cocktail pianist/singers were especially bad. If the weather had been better (only 10 days of sunshine and calm seas) the overall grade for the cruise would probably just managed to get upped to a 4 star. Food was occasionally very good but in general the buffet was 'works canteen' standard. Decent but hardy inspiring. The MDR was generally better and on the occasions when the meals fell short (and some wouldn't have even passed trades description) the crew were always very keen to offer an alternative meal. The crew were exceptional and were the saving grace. Would I sail with P&O again. Possibly on a 2 week cruise but definitely not on a long one.
