The 4,200-passenger, 150,000-ton vessel will set sail in summer 2010 with year-round 7-day voyages to the east and west Caribbean following a series of high-profile inaugural events in Europe and the US.
President and chief executive Kevin Sheehan explained: “The F3 experience will take our already successful Freestyle Cruising to the next level, affording guests the ultimate freedom and flexibility. Norwegian Epic, denoting a ship that is very impressive on a grand scale, is the most fitting name.”
