Royal Caribbean have increased the advance publicity and anticipation surrounding the launch of their Independence of the Seas – a sister to their two 160,000-ton Freedom-class vessels, the largest cruise ships in the world – with the creation of a website, www.royalcaribbean.co.uk/independence
The site features movies to bring to life the action-packed facilities onboard the new ship such as surfing demonstrations, rock climbing sessions and a glimpse of the fun in the onboard H20 water-park.
Independence will make its first cruise on May 2, 2008, from Southampton and then be based there throughout the summer as the largest ship to be home-ported in the UK.
