Seattle-based Holland America Line, which has been sailing for nearly 75 years, visits 400 ports in 114 countries every year. In October 2021 it welcomed its latest ship, the seventh to bear the name Rotterdam since the lines very first vessel of 1873. The 2,668-guest newcomer joins sisters Koningsdam and Nieuw Statendam as the joint largest in the fleet. Apart from all the "dam" names, Dutch heritage also shines through in some of the $4million-worth of artwork to be seen onboard. If sounds are more your thing, live music venues include the rolling stone rock boom, billboard onboard and BB King's Blues Club. For foodies, there are French, Asian, steak and Italian dishes on offer in a wide range of restaurants.
